Gum arabic is the hardened sap of the acacia tree, tapped by hand from the trees of Kordofan and Darfur and left to harden into glassy amber lumps. It is fully edible, carries the food-additive designation E414, and is around 90% soluble fibre — which is why it is trusted as a natural emulsifier, stabilizer, and encapsulating agent across the food and pharmaceutical industries. Sudan supplies roughly half of the world's gum arabic.

Gum arabic is the hardened sap of the acacia tree, tapped by hand from the trees of Kordofan and Darfur and left to harden into glassy amber lumps. It is fully edible, carries the food-additive designation E414, and is around 90% soluble fibre — which is why it is trusted as a natural emulsifier, stabilizer, and encapsulating agent across the food and pharmaceutical industries. Sudan supplies roughly half of the world's gum arabic.

We offer both varieties. Hashab (Acacia Senegal) is supplied as a single cleaned grade of light-to-dark amber lumps with minimal fines. Talha (Acacia Seyal) is graded into sifting (0.5–4mm), G3 (4mm and above), and dust (under 0.5mm), as well as a cleaned blend of 35% sifting and 65% G3. Both are available raw, kibbled, mechanically milled, or spray-dried to match your process, packed to export standard and shipped in full containers from Port Sudan with complete documentation.
